The products

Most of the fabrics and items used in the collections are sourced in Afghanistan and can, if there is sufficient demand, potentially help artisans to maintain and develop their crafts and help themselves become more economically self-sufficient. We are in the process of identifying embroiderers, textile manufacturers, and craftsmen and women who are experts in their fields - whether it is jewelry-making, calligraphy, woodwork, sewing or stone-cutting.

The tailoring/finishing of the clothing items is currently being done outside of Afghanistan to ensure that a particular quality standard is established and maintained.

However, the intention is to migrate the business to Afghanistan to have the majority of the work originating and finishing there in an atelier or school of excellence.

This will enable artisans within Afghanistan to develop a sustainable business for themselves and their country.
